⚠️ CRITICAL PHYSICS ANALYSIS

1. Experimental Focus: A massive “Unit 20” has been added requiring detailed knowledge of 18 specific experiments (Vernier calipers, Screw gauge, Pendulum, Resonance tube, etc.).
2. Rolling Motion: Mentioned under friction but “Rolling Motion Dynamics” is ambiguous; stick to basic rolling on inclines.

⚠️ CRITICAL CHEMISTRY ANALYSIS

1. Practical Chemistry is HUGE: A dedicated unit covers Titrations, Salt Analysis, and preparation of specific compounds like Mohr’s Salt and Potash Alum.
2. Specific Compounds: You must know the preparation of Potassium Dichromate (K2Cr2O7) and Permanganate (KMnO4).
3. Removed Chapters: Solid State, Surface Chemistry, Metallurgy, Polymers, and Chemistry in Everyday Life are NOT in this syllabus.

  • Diversity: 5 Kingdom classification, Viruses/Viroids, Plant & Animal Kingdoms (Salient features).
  • Morphology: Root, Stem, Leaf, Flower, Fruit, Seed. Families: Malvaceae, Cruciferae, Leguminosae, Compositae, Graminae.

⚠️ CRITICAL BIOLOGY ANALYSIS

1. The “Insect (Frog)” Issue: The syllabus says “an insect (Frog)”. This confirms FROG is the primary animal to study, despite the typo calling it an insect.
2. New Families: You must study 5 families: Malvaceae, Cruciferae, Leguminosae, Compositae, Graminae.
3. Specific Diseases: Dengue and Chikungunya are explicitly added in the Health & Disease unit.
